In the women's competition, the French University of Lyon will face the University of Pitesti from Romania, while the defending champion Vasyl Stefanyk University from Ukraine will meet the French University of Western Brittany for a place in the final at the venue in front of the Main Building of the University of Debrecen.

In the men's competition, Spain's University of Valencia will take on defending champions Vytautas Magnus University of Lithuania in the final, while in the other round, Ruppin College (ISR) - Sumy State University (UKR) will play a semi-final.

One of Tuesday's most watched and very high quality matches was the host Debrecen University vs Vytautas Magnus, which the Lithuanian team won by two points.

The organisers and participants also made up for the women's shooting competition, which had been cancelled the previous day due to a storm, with the top five "sharpshooters" advancing to the final. In addition, the qualification round of the dunk contest was also popular with the fans.
