The Organising Committee of the European University 3x3 Basketball Championship, which will take place from 15-19 July, met and discussed the most important issues related to the preparations for the event. Representatives from all the organising sections were present, from accreditation and IT to the sports administration.

Almost two months before the tournament, the organising committee started practical preparations for the 3x3 basketball tournament to be held in front of the main building of the University of Debrecen in July. Final information was discussed at a committee meeting. The university championship will be highlighted by the fact that, unlike the World Tour series this summer, it will not be held in front of the Great Church, at main square of Debrecen, but in a similarly impressive setting, with the historic University of Debrecen in the background. Katalin Varga, the coordinator of the organising committee, shared her thoughts on the consultation:

"At Tuesday's meeting we clarified the tasks and the contacts with external partners went smoothly. I think the members of the organising team are really well prepared and the leaders of all areas are looking forward to the next two months."
